Peanut Thumbprint Cookies with Cinnamon Vanilla Pear Jelly
A West Texas twist on the classic thumbprint cookie.
Ingredients
- 2/3 cup chopped honey-roasted peanuts
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp freshly grated nutmeg
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 large eggs, separated
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 tsps lemon or orange zest (extract will work in a pinch)
- 2/3 cup chopped salted, roasted peanuts
- 1/2 cup FHV Cinnamon Vanilla Pear Jelly
